In Loving honor of David Richard Burrus, husband of Pamela Burrus, father of Jodi, Cameron, Jordan, Jelina & Rosie, Grandfather to Thalia, Kerensa & baby boy Newman due in November. David was a foster parent to many children & loving belly rubber to Maggie.

David was a truly dedicated, well respected & loved physician. He worked in Minnesota as a Perinatologist while living with his "Darling Bride" of 16 years & family in Laguna Beach, CA. He touched the hearts & lives of family, friends, colleagues, patient's & babies in California, Minnesota, Alaska, North Dakota and Micronesia. He will be deeply missed & forever loved.

David was born in Grand Forks, Montana on February 27th 1950 to Frances & Donald Burrus. He is loved by siblings Kenny, Mark, Cheri, & Linda. He left his physical body on September 2nd 2009.

David's passions include his "Darling Bride", family, medicine, enviromental awareness, education, biology & the human body, romance/love, writing, the art's, good food, good wine & good converstions.

David produced a play showing off Broadway, along with Pamela Burrus, called The Columbine Project, written by Paul Storiale. It is running at The Actor's Temple in New York. The show recently won seven awards, one of which was best new world dramatic play.

David recently completed writing a book which is being published online about his experiences in the field of woman's stories and child birth. Current title is Woman's Stories.



 

Dearest Pamela,
This site is for you, his children, grandchildren, extended family and friends. Our wish for you is that you have a place to share your thoughts and memories.  We hope this gives you strength to honor his memory and to continue to be the strong, happy and healthy woman that brought him love and joy, so you may continue to share with the world.

You, Cameron, Rosie. Jelina, Jordan and Jodi are in our thoughts, hearts and prayers. We're here whenever you need us.
